MDL05 - Global Search Engine finalization project

This project focusses on the finalization of the internal full text search engine of Moodle, based on a Zend implementation of the Lucene project. This project was initiated as a Google Summer of Code project in 2006 by Michael Campanis, and allows searching in the whole textual material stored on a Moodle learning instance.

Note that this implementation of the Global Search Engine is now part of the standard distribution of Moodle.
